UK limited company registration.

All trade done in UK.
No products nor services sold in the Republic(nor NI) nor the EU et cetera.
I'm an Irish tax resident.

If I set up a UK limited company:
I pay UK corporate tax @19%(soon to be 23%), so higher than Eire.
When this company pays me dividends, I am wholly taxable on these in Ireland only.
I pay no Irish corporation tax nor do I have to file anything with the CRO over here?

Is my logic correct?

Best Regards

Jack.

Please ignore the whys.

"please ignore the whys"
Ignore: Why are you doing this?
Not: The answer is no. Here's the why.
Standard operating jargon.

I'm sorry, darlings, I should have dumbed it down for back office.
My mistake.

Five minute call to solicitor at home.
Ireland uses control and centre of management as test of residency of a company.
London uses place of registration for the same test.
Seemingly contradictory, but actually covered by DT treaty.
Far too messy.
Better to register as Irish company.

Stay awesome, winners.

Sometimes Santa Clara is not your friend.
I should have done better research on this forum.

I'm out.
(Apparently delete a/c is not an option!)

You go to a solicitor for tax advice. And then produce this arrogant claptrap. ROFL.
