UB current account OD - what happens?

Through no fault of self, UB account is in overdraft and I might struggle to transfer funds to bring it into the black without jeopardising cost/of/living expenses where I live currently (not Ireland).

Not a large amount for most users of this site but means something to me: any chance they might walk away (as we saw other UK bodies did in recent times in the UK not worth expense of chasing etc ?)

Unlikely, more likely that they'll offer you a term loan to restructure it, if you can't repay it - then subsequently sell the loan as part of a portfolio of similar small loans.
