Type of paint for decking?

We have painted the garden decking, rails, backing panels etc but have yet to paint the floor. What type of paint would be tough enough for underfoot? Thanks.

As a matter of interest did you keep it the same colour? My wife wants a lighter shade of brown, medium oak, and I'm hoping I can get away with sanding the fence.

Thanks for the link. No. We went from worn deck stain to oil based paint finish in two colours. It looks fab but took 70 hrs with 2 of us sanding, power washing, priming and 2 coats of colour. Lot of work!
