Doing some painting at the weekend and have two colours chosen;one feature wall and secone colour for other 3 walls. Is there an easy way of getting a clean crisp line between the two? Masking tape? just a brush and a steady hand? Any gadget out there?
thanks in advance!

Low tack masking tape, and remove the tape before the paint dries! There are products out there to do this, but (based on limited experience it has to be said) I don't think the results justify the cost.

Use masking tape and remember to act as if it is not there, be just as careful, the masking tape is a backup, not the main defence.

Buy a new good quality brush for the edging.
Use as little paint on the brush as possible.
Have a damp cloth by your side for immediate wiping of mistakes
Work very slowly.
Do the least visible part first, as you will improve after a while.

you can get painters tape, blue stuff, about €7 a roll in woodies but worth it as its better than masking tape
