Two questions...Quicktime conversion and photos to slideshow

Hi
Having acquired a DVD (yeah I know I'm ancient!) over Xmas, I am interested in getting digital photos onto a VCD and the best application to do this?

Also interested in converting Quicktime ('orrible s/w) movie clips onto VCD, again , looking for recommendations on best application.

Have you looked at www.nero.com
you can download a trial version it works fine for me
