TV Guide with the most / best channel coverage

Recently got Sky installed - Just the basic package.
Found out that this does not entitle me to getting the free magazine - apparently you have to have some of the other options added to get the free mag.

Is there a magazine for sale in newsagents that anybody can recommend that gives the best TV guide coverage for the 80 or so channels I seem to have?

I know there is the TV Guide on the actual Sky menu, but would rather see it in print, maybe plan in advance etc, rather than scrolling page after page up, down, left, right, or spending the whole night surfing just to get to work the next day being asked "did you see programme x, y, z ... it was fab!"
 
I have the basic package with sky (sky+ box) and a friend of mine also has the basic package with the ordinary sky box, and we both get the skymag.

It doesn't list every station for every day, it's more about the highlights - and includes the channels that you may not have (movies, etc).

I found TV Now to be useful, and the TV guide in the Sunday Daily Mail isn't bad either. Doesn't give every channel, but does include quite a few of the satellites.
 
I wouldn't get too hung up on the Sky Magazine. Apparently €3 a month of your subscription goes towards it. The magazine does not give detailed day by day listings of what is on rather it plugs the best of the shows on Sky's own channels.

Most subscribers that I know, like me, chuck it straight in the bin without taking it out of the cellophane. I'd rather €3 off the subscription price...

Yes, thanks Clubman - this one is good. There are plenty more online, but I just want to be able to browse through a magazine while sitting on the sofa.
Dont want to have to go online when I find that out of the four or five channels that I watch 99% of the time (not my decision to get the damn thing installed) have nothing on that I want to watch.
Will try some of the above suggestions.

Sunday Daily Mail is better than the Sunday Times guide. The Irish Independent Tv Guide on Saturday isnt too bad. Online I would recommend www.radiotimes.com and use a Northern Ireland postal code (e.g. BT7 1EB)so you get RTE1,2,TV3 and TG4 programmes listed.
 
Theres a great electronic tv guide called digiguide. Runs on your computer. very cheap for what it offers. Does every channel you can think of.

Bought both at the weekend - Mail was certainly better in my opinion.
Didnt have time to watch any TV though - too much news to be reading!

Yes, have Digiguide as well - unbeatable as it offers the functionality of searching and favourite actors/programmes etc etc.
