US President Donald Trump has celebrated the suspension of talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel from the airwaves and said TV broadcasters should lose their licenses over negative coverage of his administration, adding fuel to a national debate over free speech.

The power grab is now well underway.

From my limited experience of American dictatorships, can he rely on the Military to support him?

Free Speech, you gotta love it.

He can't pull the licences, but he can potentially put his own people in place in the quango that does have the power to pull them.
 
Funny how the people who want to limit freedom the most are the ones who shout about fighting for freedom and free-speech.
