I have a LTV mortgage with NIB for self build. During the build I was on interest only payments & first drewdown stage payments in May 07. Now that the build is finished I am switching over to the LTV portion with payment of interest and principal.
I have not as yet claimed any Mortgage interest relief.
Question:
1. Am I entitled to claim on the Interest payments made to date?
2. Is there any benefit in wating until Jan when relief will be at 25%
3. Would I be losing out claim now in November or can I back date the relief claim?
Any advice appreciated.
