Can anyone tell me if you are still entitled to TRS at source if you are on unemployment benefit.Even if only for 2-3 months...who tells the mortgage provider etc?
Yes. Even if you have no income at all you benefit from the TRS tax credit since it is granted at source (like tax credits for SSIA top-ups and private health insurance premiums). Being on UB has no bearing on this.
