Hi there, I have switched from Vodafone mobile to 3 mobile last friday and I'm keeping my own number. I was told by 3 it would take 24 hours. After 24 hours I called 3 as the switch had not happened and was told it would take another 24 hours as there seemed to be some holdup. When the switch did not happen after another 24 hours I called 3 again and was told there was a problem at the Vodafone end and was told it would take another 24 to 48 hours. I called Vodafone today Sunday afternoon who tell me it will take until the middle to end of next week to switch over.
Are there any guidelines on how long the switch should take? It does seem quite a long time.
