Hi All
I have an electric shower, Triton T90, which is acting up. it worked fine up to the big freeze of 2010 and since then its being going very very hot when on. At times it seems to only have very cold or very hot temp. pressure is not great. I live in a hardwater area and regularly replaced the shower heads as they clogged so frequently, so I belive part of the problem is limescale. We have since been switched to a different water supply, and equipment no longer clogs up, but occassionally pieces of limescale come out in the flow of water in the shower. I hardly ever use this shower now, but need to get it fixed as hope to rent this room out to help with the mortgage.
Can if be fixed do you think, or do I need to buy a new unit? Can't afford much expense to be honest. Its over 7 years old btw, used about once a day up to 18 months, when it started to act up. Luckily got a power shower installed in main bathroom in Jan 2010 so have been using that since ( in case you think I gave up showering in 2010!)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, not so good on the DIY front,
