Top Marks to Jem

... giving a few quid towards an event like this is generally a lot easier than actually doing the work behind the sceenes

I hope someone bought the fella a pint after the event finished ;)

Cheers

What was the most money any one punter lost on the night ?

One lad bought in for €22, bought back 8 times at 20 each time and toped up for €20=200 he actually came in 6th so made a profit.

No but everyone had a good night for a good cause.Like everything you pay your money and take your chance. The vast majority of players knew before they played that there was no hope of them making money but they played for teh game and to help st. V de p.
It was nice to be able to hand St V de P a cheque for €2570.
Have you a problem with this.
