Travel Insurance: Anyone received a "no show" letter from Ryanair?

Family holiday was cancelled due to illness of one of the family members. Currently claiming on the travel insurance policy. Response has come back looking for a couple of things. One of them is "No Show Letters From Ryanair Confirming That You Did Not Travel As Planned".

I will, of course, contact Ryanair to attempt to obtain such a letter and I have no quibble with the travel insurance company requesting this. But, knowing how Ryanair operate, I suspect that I will get nowhere trying to extract a letter out of them.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? As it happens, the planned date of departure hasn't happened yet - it's next week. So my own thought is that I could obtain confirmation that the flight took off as planned and also present ourselves at a local Garda station later that day and ask a Garda to confirm that we were in a Garda station in Ireland shortly after the flight left. But perhaps I'm overthinking this?

Anyone with similar experience?

I just Googled "Ryanair no show letter for insurance" (it actually prompted to autocomplete that search term) and found it that way. :)

And here was me thinking that it would make sense to go straight to the Ryanair website and look around there. With hindsight, the Google choice is a lot smarter, especially given the vast array of content available on the Ryanair website. Thanks again.
