Hope someone can advise...
We have a case ongoing in the Circuit Court for 5 years - it has been "listed for mention" on about 28 different occassions and we have made some progress. However we have now decided to transfer the case to the High Court sitting in our area.
Our solicitor has advised that the Judge in the Circuit Court granted the transfer and it has been transferred to the High Court in Dublin but that we now have to seek to transfer it to the High Court sitting in our area?
Initially we were told the High Court was sitting in our area in July and we were sure to get on that list. Now we're being told we'll have to wait until the next sitting towards the end of the year?!
Is this correct? How long is this likely to take?
