transfering video to dvd or c.d rom

hows it goin, i was just wondering if anyone knows where i could get a video tape transferd to dvd or c.d rom. anywhere around the dublin area.

If it's a once-off job, I think the Fuji centre in Grafton street do it (my sister did this a few years ago). But you may well find cheaper...

If you envisage doing this more often, and have a PC at home with a CD-burner, you might pop into your nearest Aldi next week. It doesn't seem to be on their website yet, but they're doing a Video to .mpeg converter thingy for Eur49.99 (and lots of other tasty computer bits!)

If you already have a PC DVD burner then ...

Aldi have a High Speed DVD Creator available from Paddy's Day for EUR 49.99. It enables you to transfer from the video onto your PC and then use the burner to transfer to DVD
