Transfer of Shares

Normally id just use a Companies Formation Agent for somthing like this - just a query incase anyone else here has done one.
I want to transfer shares in a limited company. I know i need to lodge a Share Transfer with the Revenue & It will be updated at ARD with CRO, and hold an Egm and get a memo from both parties detailing the transfer.

Is it much more complicated than this - probably going to use the agent but good to know what im getting for the money.
Cheers
Andrew

Edit: This is a limited company - not a PLC or anything.

The share transfer form is lodged with the CRO not the Revenue.
You need to minute the EGM for company secretarial records.
You need to destroy the old share certificate and issue a new one.
You need to consider tax issues such as CAT and CGT.

That is all I can think of off the top of my head.

WRONG.

Share or Stock Transfer forms must be lodged with Revenue. They are Revenue documents. The transfer is reflected on the next B1 (annual return filed with CRO) This is the only time CRO are notified of a transfer of shares.

You talking about a stock transfer form? It goes to Revenue.
