Hi All -
I am resident abroad, I have a vehicle based in Northern Ireland that I use regularly when I come home. Based there, taxed, MOT'd, insured etc.
I would like to become ordinarily resident in Ireland in the next 18 months and wondering if I can take the NI car without paying VRT?
I satisfy all the criteria, except for the fact my residence and the cars residence are in two different states. Will this matter?
