this is an unusual one!!!
We have a house with a tracker mortgage (BOI) on it is rented out at the minute. We also have another house (primary residence) bought with a loan from a family member. They now want the loan repaid (long story) . Unfortunately neither of us are in permanent job (me temporary contract him (self employed) - so dont think we will get a new mortgage.
I want to sell the rental property and transfer the outstanding mortgage (170K) to our other house (worth 350K ) which we live in.
Is this possible?????
