I have recently broken up with my partner. We owned a house together which we bought for 278000 in 1995. House currently valued at 250000 and outstanding mortgage is 240000.
Mortgage is in both names and deeds in joint names.
My ex has got approval for mortgage to cover outstanding balance in her own name.
Im just wondering if there will be any fees assosiated with the transfer of the mortgage and deeds into her own name.
I know there will be solicitor fees, just wondering if anyone knows if there will be any tax or other cost implications either for myself or my ex in this transaction.
