As far as I know you will have to take the train from Holyhead via Crewe, Chester and down the western side of England. Its a long journey but the trains are fairly regualar leaving Holyhead. Take food & drink for the journey cos the train stuff is a rip off.
hi, i was in college in mid wales and we used arriva trains to go to either holyhead for the boat or birmingham to fly home.
most trains in wales not the most direct route. many of them go through either chester or shewsbury and from what i can remember the holyhead one the same.
Can't remember exact journey length but was long enough! trains go from beside where ship docks in holyhead so handy enough from that point of view.
Enjoy the match!!
