Just thought I'd share my (good so far) ongoing experience with this site.

I registered my job yesterday with brief details of my requirements. Received a text and email straight away confirming I was on their system. Received a further four texts and emails with the names and contact details of tradesmen 'interested in my job'. Each email had a brief description of the type of work they undertake and a couple had recommendations from previous customers.

The messages said I would be contacted by the tradesmen detailed so I sat back to wait. Within an hour one had called me and discussed the job in more detail promising to revert to me in a day or so with s full quote. An hour or so later another of the guys contacted me, arranged to call round last night, had a look at the work and again, promised to revert in a few days with a quote.

Haven't heard anything from the other two references but will update if I do.

So far, so good...

I would recommend the site from the experience to date.

Just to be clear... I've no affiliation etc etc...

Good ......but they charge tradesmen with premium texts weekly, good for the consumer , not so good for the tradesmen..........

What sort of cost to the tradesman?

How does this compare with advertising (classified in local paper / Golden Pages etc)?

What sort of ROI do trade get from the site?

My experience as a consumer has been good so far and the two guys I spoke with seemed happy with it.

Any other trades / consumers dealt with the service?

Comments?

:)

We have done work through this method. I think you pay a one of fee, then you get jobs texted to you, just an outline, if you want more details, it will cost you, Small jobs would be €2 and others more €6 and upwards.

Those four tradespeople bought the details of your job from tradesman.
