My Company delivers to all parts of the island of Ireland, we presently have a tracker system that tells us where the truck is and estimated time as to when it will be at our customers site. That's fine, but we need much more. Besides from all the standard benefits of a tracker system.
We need much other information on each trip like fuel usage ( yes I know that's one is fairly standard ) also need toll bridge costs, driver wage costs, an allowance for wear and tear on vehicles.
We would like to have a 95% accurate figure of what it costs to deliver from point A to point B, Then if we get a query from any part of this island, then we would know what the cost of the delivery is.
There has to software out there.
