towards 2016 pay increase

Hi,

Just wondering when the 3 percent pay increase for december 2006 comes into effect? Also, does this apply to those in the private sector or is it just the public sector?

I work in the private sector (non union) and have never received any of the "social partnership" pay increases. Actually I haven't received a pay increase in two years now!

Its debateable which is best : workers included in "Towards 2016" are guaranteed a percentage pay rise,no more no less, and they are not entitled to any "special pay awards". ClubMan might be doing very well / better outside 2016. The thing is , in the private sector , there is great scope and incentive to make the best out of the "Celtic Tiger" while it lasts

Most people got T16 Payments at start of pay deal , around June.

I am a private sector worker, and we received backpay, and T16 in our december paysheet.


It is over a 27 month period, and in Private Sector, start of payment is decided between Employer / Union.


What Union are you in (if any), are you sure Employer recognises T16.
