Too late to sow British Queens, considering the long cold winter?

Can anyone advise if it is def too late for sowing British Queens tomorrow? Given the hard winter we had I am thinking of chancing sowing them now.

My spuds are going in this weekend. Because of the hard winter, my veg garden is way behind (virgin ground). They'll do or they'll die.

What alternative do you have? The seed spuds won't keep until next year! Plant them and make the best of what mother nature gives you.
