Hi guys
I have a few interviews next week and (fingers crossed, touching wood etc.!) was just wondering if in this climate, is it acceptable to ask for time to consider a job offer (e.g. a day or so). I would be massively surprised / delighted to even get one offer, don't get me wrong, but obviously there is one job I would prefer over another ideally, and don't want to be messing people around by accepting and then telling them I have changed my mind, so would it be ok to say 'thanks for the offer, could i possibly think it over overnight and get back to you tomorrow morning?' - or would that seem ungrateful in the current climate?
I'll probably get offered nothing so it will be immaterial anyway!
