hi all ,
looking for advice on the following scenario;
Timber frame house; installing 90mm flexi rockwool slab between external studs, a layer of tyvek vapour barrier -airguard over the insualtion and then on the walls which ;
1)require sockets a service void with 2" x 1" battens with a 52.5mm K18 insulated foilback plasterboard slab screwfixed to battens and skimmed.
2)dont require sockets / services screw fix the insulated slab directly to the timber frame and skim

My question: is there a requirment for the tyvek airguard if the slab has a foilback and is fixed directly to the timber frame.
Any thoughts or opinions welcome. is this a good build up of insulation for the external walls?
