Tiling allowance

I have just received the contracts from the builders and there is no tiling allowance. The ea had told me that there was a €750 tiling allowance. I contacted the ea again and they said that the tiling allowance had been withdrawn by the builder after the first phase and they did not inform the ea.

Have I any rights to this allowance even though I never got anything in writing?

fraid not,

No rights until you sign the contract (or a written binding document)
but even after signing the contract the builders can change anything if they have included such clause in the contract (which they usually do!).
