Thunderbird vs OE

Hi
Have recently downloaded Thunderbird with a view to using it instead of OE6. I can't see any big advantages to using it, after playing around with it for a while. Seems to do all the same stuff. Am I missing some features that put OE in the shade?

Thunderbird is safer.

It does emails exactly like OE does.

It is not as tightly integrated into the OS and is therefore less of a risk for spyware and for virus atacks.

thanks for that. This might be a good reason to move. Is there a backup utility for Thunderbird, i recently found a good one for OE, this would swing it for me probably.

Just noticed that when you reply to an email in TB, it starts the response text at the bottom of the email. Is there any way to change this?
