For home loan mortgages do lenders still allow the borrowers solicitor to act putting security in place for the Bank? Or have some banks insisted on a three way closing or do they rely on the revised undertaking agreed with Law Society and Bankers Federation? Appreciate any help.

I don't think so but I have it in the back of my mind that some banks are trying to amend the agreed 2011 paperwork/procedures.
