thinking of starting a surfing school

greatly encouraged by all the adds, im on my way down to my friendly local AIB bank manager to ask him for a business loan to start my own surf school in the west of ireland. 1) how much do you think he'll give me and, 2) will he give me a mortgage for the house on the beach as well, do you think?

Depends on Savings, Loans, Are you working in the sector at the moment, what are the earnings, have you a business plan.

Best bet is to provide a few more details and im sure someone here will give you an idea of what you need/can look for.

I surf the west coast alot, where are you thinking of setting up shop?

same as davyjones said I'd guess that the market is fairly well saturated unless you have a different angle on it. In Strandhill Sligo theres 5 or 6 schools based there not all run through the winter so you may need to have a back up for winter even though it's usually better surfing its not so good for beginners. Can't think of any town on the west coast at present thats not serviced by surf schools but could be wrong.
