Mind you, if this is about the same, hideous saga you've been posting about before, if the parties even get in front of a Judge, it will be a miracle. And if its two lay litigants, the Judges generally try and keep it less formal.

Whatever, I remember a judge telling all before him one busy family law day, to try to come to some agreement before they came into him, otherwise one party would go away dissatisfied! it made perfect sense to me.
 
If testifying position yourself facing the Judge. Dont even look at the opposition solicitor. Think carefully before answering any question. A good tip is to count to six before answering. This can be practised at home. Do your best to appear reasonable at all times and be pite towards the judge
