My wife received a P21 for 2006 showing an underpayment of Eur 189. for the year.
The P21 states that "this underpayment will not be collected at the time". Does that mean that it's written off ? Or will it be collected at a future date ?
Too small to be coded in for collection, in other words not worth their while issuing an amended cert of tax credits to collect. If she has an overpayment on the next years P21 they may set this off first and refund her the balance, then again they may pay her the full overpayment. Generally you can forget about it until the next P21 is balanced.

Agreed. recently received 3 ( all incorrect ) p21's. two showed the above statement and one had a refund for €51. got the cheque in the same post as the 'underpaid' statements.
