Tax Refund

Dear All,

We are looking to relocating back to India during mid of this year, and have a quick question regarding the tax refund. I am here from past 7 years and my tax payment is up-to-date. I would like to understand if I can apply for some of the tax refund. If so what is the procedure and how long it would take. Please advice

If you leave Ireland part way through the year and are going abroad permanently you are due your full tax allowances for the year. You should complete a Form P50 and send this to the tax office with your P45 when you cease employment.
