I requested my taxes to be checked back as far as 2002 and for a balancing statement to be sent to me by the tax office. I just got a reply saying they had no record of me working in 2002. the thing is i have been working full time for the past 9 years.

Anyone tell me what i should do in this situation and what way will it effect me
 
If you were an employee did you get statements of tax credits from Revenue and payslips, P60s (at the end of each tax year) and P45s (when leaving) from each employer over the years?
 
Hi Clubman,

I have a folder with all that sort of stuff i will have to go through them and see what i have and where i was working at that time i was in between jobs that year i will have to check dates.
