Tax on Health Repayment Payout

I was named on the will of a distant relative with my siblings, upon demise the estate was dealt with and we all paid our capital gains or aquisition tax. The estate has recieved notification of a pay out under the Health Repayment Scheme will we be liable for any tax upon reciept of this?

Yes - I have just dealt with one of these. The payut is classed as an additional amount coming from the original disponer and as such will be subject to additional tax.
