I would like ot know if anyone could help me. I worked at a rental agncy a year back. I was merely a rental clerk, on the maintenance side, the guy who did the maintenance, got very caught up in work, when payment dates came, all his invoices were not present. He asked me if i could mabey help him and type him invoices, submit it for payment and he will submit his own later. Never did I put on any VAT or Reg number and he charged vat. the payment was made. i left the company. Its over a year now, and yesterday a rnta house owner phoned me, wanting clarification as his legal and finacial laywer says its fraud? Am I in trouble? What is the best way to go about?
