I only recently registered online with revenue. I have an apartment rented out to SDCC.
They e-mailed me looking for a tax clearance cert in order for the rent to be paid out.
I applied for same on line.
Revenue e-mailed me back that all my affairs were in order and issued me with an access code to forward to interested parties.
I sent it on to South Dublin County Council. They state that they can not access cert with codes issued by Revenue. They want me to send snap shot of what revenue e-mailed to cover me for the next 30 days. Sorry to admit waiting for son to get home to send snap shot. Dont know how.
Anybody know anything about this? Why would revenue send out code that cant be used.
Also will revenue send out paper cert for the year?
