I have tried to search prior threads on this but I am still unsure. Basically I am wondering once probate is granted has the Revenue accessed enough information from the SA.2 to automatically complete the tax clearance element for the deceased person ? Can you apply for tax clearance at the same time as sending in the SA.2
Can the solicitor immediately sign over assets and release cash to beneficiaries once probate is granted or do you have to wait until probate is granted and then a tax clearance done and then wait the 35 days ?
I am wondering as the SA.2 process is relatively new so maybe both the probate application and tax clearance are now done at the same time as Revenue can see lots on the form ?
