HI all,
I am looking at buying a mid terrace 2 bed house 70sq. I have always had gas, this house has the Subject heaters in each room. I have never heard of them, hence a few questions.
Are they costly to run, they are were installed about 2019.
Energy efficiency
House BER is a C3. Attic need to be instalation better.
Any other information much appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks, Blackrock1, i found similar information on line, I was wondering if anyone has one and how they found it. It a smart device so don't know if they are more efficient.

That will all really depend on the house and setting it up optimally with an appropriate tariff, assume youd want a day night rate and set them to heat over night and release during the day

I had 1960s generation storage heaters in an apartment, made sense for living room area, I liked the slow release of a steady heat during the day.
But in bedrooms not so much (heat up too much during the night).

I'm not familiar with that brand. I know some modern storage heaters have an option to run as regular heaters - more expensive, but in spring \ autumn that might be more efficient to have 1 hour of heat on demand & more convenient than using a different heat source. Would be worth trying to suss out if they have that option.
The older storage heaters just had a 'boost' option to release the heat built up the night before, so needed to have one eye on the next day's weather to know whether to set the input high or low (how much heat to generate during the night).

Thanks Odyssey 06, they are smart heaters with temperature control and ECO settings, also an app and remote to control, I see the next door neighbour has installed solar panels also on the roof . As just viewed house did not get a chance to talk to the neighbour.

A concern would be there seems to be little information online (small userbase?) and that seems to be a complex setup. Maybe there's a manual in the house or you can track it down on the Sygma website.
