Switching: Single to Joint Mortgage - Issues?

I'm planning to switch mortgage provider (BOI to KBC) in the next month.

However, the current mortgage is in my partner's name only, while the new mortgage will be joint.

Both names are on the title, we both contribute to the mortgage and have a legal co-ownership agreement.

I can't think of any issues with this approach off-hand - am I missing something?

TIA

Strange current mortgage in one name only whereas ownership is in both names. I must be missing something.

Due to our circumstances we wouldn't have got the original mortgage with both of our names. Similarly, now we won't get the new mortgage without both of us on it.

What about TRS, will that be affected?

It's just odd to have both names on deeds and one on mortgage, very common to have two on mortgage and one on deeds, not so common other way around as basically you have mortgaged something you don't fully own, banks don't usually like that scenario.
