We bought old house Oct 08 and spent a long time renovatin it-no hurry as existing PPR wasn't selling. Qu- is there a period of time in tax law that allows you maintain PPR status on existing house-I know you can't have two PPRs at the same time but is there some kind of crossover period- we have just moved into completed renovated hse so now its our PPR but for tax purposes want to know if 14 month crossover period is alright ?
