Hi folks, I have just switch mortgage provider. Drawdown yesterday with BOI and old KBC mortgage paid off today. I paid my mortgage on 1st of month with old KBC ac. I know KBC added 20 days or so of interest to final redemption amount so I taught i would be just paying 10 days of interest with BOI. They told me my first repayment won't be until 1st November (2 months mortgage free) so no repayments in Sept or Oct. They have confirmed my first repayment won't be anything extra. Surely the interest has to be factored in somewhere unlikely they are giving me 2 months interest free. Does it get consolidated to end of term?
