At the moment a record number of people are now on state benefits as a result of the corona virus outbreak. Theoretically this is temporary and alot of those temporary unemployed will return to the workforce. However there is growing evidence that this will not be the case, alot of people will choose not to return to work especially in low paid manual sectors.
There were alot of people that were quite happy to stay on welfare even before this outbreak, I think that this number will be alot larger afterwards even as economy recovers. My question is Who is going to pay for all this?

Taxpayers. Same as always.
but less and less taxpayers, its actually not about money as they have just printed more of that to give to everybody not working and thats ok for now. However people have to go back to work to produce the goods that everyone needs , but there will be less and less of those willing workers,

Is there? Are we talking about fruit companies having to import labour, the same way they always have?

The vast majority of people want a better life for themselves, once the C19 supports are pulled back people will want to work to do better than they do on social welfare.
