Does anyone know where to buy good suet balls online?

I've had two different brands from Amazon and sent them back due to being too hard and no interest from the birds even when mashed up.

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry I can't give you any advice on purchase but can say not to bother trying to make them yourself. I tried to make them many moons ago and they were a disaster (probably like the rest of my cooking :) ) The birds were not interested in them at all. I think I followed online instructions.

I got Lidl's 'rope' & they're nearly gone. Heard or read somewhere not to feed birds after winter - probably Eithne Viney's column.

I just went down to the local co-op, which had a14kg box of fatballs at around half the cost of the lesser quantities.
