Studying to eventually work from home.

Hi all,

Just wondering what courses people would like to study to eventually work from home. I've recently been offered a 60k redundancy and am contemplating leaving work and going to college to study. I did Mech Eng when I left school to nat dip level but have no interest in at now at all.

The 60k would enable me to keep up mortgage repayments for 3 or 4 years and live as I am at the moment.

Having done my time in a factory the idea of working from home really appeals. Soooo what jobs can you do from home???

What kind of things do you like to do? That's where you need to start. List the type of work you would love to do and go from there. You have mentioned things you don't like, but you need to start from the other end!

Have you thought of the practicalities of working from home? I did it for 2 years and there are downsides as well as upsides. Do you want to work for yourself or for a company? Do you have a business idea? Have you talked to Enterprise Ireland?
