I would like to know of anybody who would strip an old pine chair, by dipping it, for me.
The plan is to paint it. The chair is about 150 years old and parts of the build up now look black. Browtal
Browtal. I recently sanded down an old pine chair by hand. I got about 90% of the pine varnish off. It took a bit of time over a few days. It is hard on the hands. I painted it and even with about 10% of old varnish still on it, it looks great.
