Just wondering if anyone knows about feasibility of having a back bolier fitted to a stove?

am adding a small extension and want to fit a stove and use stove to heat radiators in an adjoining room (part of existing house). Is this practical or possible?

thanks
Barry

Great idea and works no problem at all. You need to get a stove to suit the amount of rads that you want to run off it. We have a jotul in our own house that will run about 5 rads or more (only have it if ever we ran out of oil so that we could heat water - its in a dining room that we don't use). We have stanley's in some investment properties and they work great so that the tennants can have dual heating - oil or solid fuel.

NHG,

Is the stove ran into your hot water cylinder (Via Dual Coil)? Or how is this plumbed into the system?
