Hello.
I have a problem with my stroage heater - mainly its circuit.
There is a storage heater in my flat that never kicks in. I found it quite odd, and had electrician check it.
The heater itself is ok, and works when connected to normal socket - but there is no power in its circuit at all - (even before the switch).
From the smell when we switched it on- one can tell it was never used before. - so it looks like mains was never connected.
My 2 neighbours could not make their ones working either. - so it may be this way in other flats as well.
In flats I used to live in before - stroage heaters were on "separate circuit" and kicked in at night - say 11pm.
Can anyone explain me how those are installed in new buildings ? or maybe put me in the right direction as who I am to speak to ?
Building management or elect. provider say - it has nothing to do with them as the problem is within the property.
