A friend (yes a friend not me) has 20 BOI shares currently quoted at about €260. She wants to sell them but it appears she has to open a stockbroker account and the admin fees will then wipe out the value. Is there any way around this?
I use to be with Campbell and O'Connor my uncle was a stockbroker but there firm is gone now and my uncke has passed away sadly
I haven't bought any in years and that cert is paper might be only 88 if I'm lucky I have to check
someone said they were going to make it easier to sell the shares for people who had smaller amounts but that never happened

Folks just an update on this was talking the Davys and if ur just selling them heres what they say I have two sets of shares but I'm only going to sell the bank of Ireland
