C Caveat Registered User Messages 4,007 14 Nov 2007 #1 Hi Downloaded Radiohead's new one the other day. Problem is that while it will play on a little Sony hand held that I have, it won't play on my main (Technics) Hi-Fi - it just won't read it. Anyone know why this might be? It's a CD-RW 1x-4x.

Thanks Believe it or not this is the first album I've ever downloaded. Should I try CD-R - would it make a difference? Suppose the Technics is about 15 years old and I've only had the Sony about a year.

C ClubMan Registered User Messages 52,306 14 Nov 2007 #4 It may not play even CD-Rs. Only way to find out is to try.
